Rania, a former Emory debater, arrived at Emory with very little national high school experience, and then won the American Debate Association Nationals in her senior year, which has made her a passionate advocate to make debate possible for all; regardless of prior experience. After college, Rania attended the University of Oklahoma College of Law. In her formal legal career she rose to the status of shareholder at one of Oklahoma’s preeminent law firms where she specialized in complex oil and gas litigation. After leaving the legal profession to pursue more creative endeavors in the technology space, Rania owned several business ventures and currently is working on her startup Yooze (patent pending!). Over the years, Rania has championed the cause of many Tulsa non-profits including The Little Light House, Gatesway, Child Abuse Network, Up with Trees, and most recently, The Junior League of Tulsa. To make charity events spicy, she moonlights as an auctioneer as well. Rania lives in Tulsa with her two rescue dogs, non-rescue husband and toddler, V.
